Visually Impaired Club

About Us

The Visually Impaired Club (VIC) was launched on April 26th 2013 by the Mayor of Hertsmere, Cllr Pat Strack.

The Club is primarily, but not exclusively, for blind and partially sighted people of Radlett, Elstree, Borehamwood and Shenley and it is the sister organisation of the Talking Newspaper that sends out a recording of the news weekly.

Our regular members usually range from 25 years old upwards and we have a good variety of ages. However, under 25 year olds are certainly not excluded and we encourage people of all ages to come along to the VIC and have some fun.

If you need help getting to the meetings then contact us as we can organise transport for you. We are always looking for people to help to run the meetings so please get in touchif you would like to find out more.

We meet once a week from 1.30pm to 4pm at Maxwell Park Community Centre, Maxwell Road, Borehamwood,
